Educational Platform: Refers to ESCOOLA’s platform providing educational services.

Force Majeure: Includes acts of God, government actions, wars, strikes, and other uncontrollable events.

Applicable Laws: Refers to the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Accounts and Registration

To use ESCOOLA’s services, you must provide accurate information to create an account. Accounts are non-transferable, and you are responsible for all activities under your account. Notify ESCOOLA immediately of any unauthorized use.

ESCOOLA may suspend or terminate your account if it suspects inaccurate or incomplete information. You may be required to provide additional documentation to verify your identity or financial instruments.

Tutor Registration

Tutors must provide:

• Introductory video
• Full name, age, gender, nationality
• Email address, mobile number, resume, academic certificates
• Identification document, subject to teach, session duration, teaching experience, and other required information.

Tutor Profile Guidelines

• Use a recent, professional profile picture (within 12 months).
• Wear appropriate attire; avoid revealing clothes or sunglasses.
• Ensure the photo reflects kindness and competence.
• Group photos, cartoons, or avatars are not allowed.
• ESCOOLA may modify your image background to align with branding guidelines.

Student Registration

Students must provide:

• Full name, age, gender
• Email address, mobile number, parent’s contact details
• Payment method, school year, major, school name, and other required information.

Parent/Guardian Registration

Parents/guardians must provide:

• Full name, date of birth, relative relation
• Nationality, country of residence, phone number
• Child’s contact details and other required information.

ESCOOLA Services

ESCOOLA is an educational platform connecting students with tutors for online sessions. Tutors are independent freelancers, and ESCOOLA does not control the quality, timing, or legality of their services.

Session Types

1. Online Group Sessions: Multiple students attend sessions based on the tutor’s schedule.

2. Online One-to-One Sessions: A single student attends a session with the tutor.

Tutors must evaluate students after each session based on focus, participation, homework performance, and other factors.

Tutor Responsibilities

• Tutors must provide services themselves; no transfers or substitutions are allowed.
• Tutors grant ESCOOLA a perpetual license to use their content.
• Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance.
• Tutors must comply with tax obligations in their country of residence.
• Tutors cannot exchange contact information with students or parents outside the platform.

Payment and Fees

• Tutors earn fees only for attended sessions.
• Monthly transfers are free; additional transfers incur fees.
• Tutors are responsible for taxes, VAT, and other governmental charges.
• A percentage of fees may be held as insurance against misconduct.

Refund Policy

Refunds are granted in the following cases:

• Ongoing technical issues.
• Dissatisfaction with tutor quality.
• Personal reasons (assessed by the support team).

Refunds are not eligible for:

• Services rendered more than 5 days before the refund request.
• Discounted services or wallet points.
• Absenteeism.

Cancellation Policy

Student Cancellations

• Early Cancellation: No penalty if canceled more than 2 hours before the session.
• Late Cancellation/No-Show: Full session fee forfeited.

Tutor Cancellations

• Tutors may face warnings or account deactivation for repeated cancellations or no-shows.
• Tutors must reschedule missed sessions.

Copyrights and Trademarks

All content on the platform is the property of ESCOOLA or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of trademarks or content is prohibited.

Data Privacy and Confidentiality

ESCOOLA collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Users must keep confidential information private and indemnify ESCOOLA for any breaches.

Limitations of Liability

ESCOOLA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. ESCOOLA is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ESCOOLA harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the platform or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Closing the Account

ESCOOLA or users may close accounts at any time. Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their information.

Links to Third-Party Platforms

ESCOOLA is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party platforms linked on the site. Use such links at your own risk.

Applicable Laws

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved in UAE courts.
